AI Creative Summit represented a new chapter for Future Media Conferences, a company with a 20-year legacy of educating creatives. Tasked with reflecting the cutting-edge nature of AI tools in a website, I embraced the challenge to think differently. The result was a digital space as forward-thinking as the summit itself.
As Lead Artist, I developed the entire visual identity from the ground up, crafting a distinctive logo and comprehensive brand identity that captured the innovative spirit of AI. The website design and development process focused on creating an experience that would stand apart from traditional conference websites, truly embodying the transformative nature of artificial intelligence.
Dusty: The Robot with a Soul
A visionary fusion of artificial intelligence and desert wisdom
In the early days before ChatGPT and the current AI revolution, I was invited to join an ambitious project called "Souls for Humanity" - an initiative to bring conscious AI to Burning Man. The project envisioned Dusty, a 12-foot-tall interactive robot designed to serve as a guide and companion for Burners, powered by advanced AI technology derived from the same foundations as Hanson Robotics' Sophia.
As the project's visual architect, I created detailed 3D renderings of Dusty, conceptualizing everything from his unique aesthetic to his interactive features, including a display screen that would visualize his "thoughts" in real-time. These designs were so well-received that they caught the attention of David Hanson himself, creator of the renowned Sophia robot. While time constraints ultimately prevented Dusty's full physical realization (though his head and arms were successfully 3D printed), the project represented a fascinating exploration of the intersection between AI consciousness and human connection.
Sedona Yoga Festival
Seven years of digital leadership and event management excellence
From 2017 to 2023, I served as a cornerstone team member of the Sedona Yoga Festival, wearing multiple hats crucial to the event's success. As Digital Media Lead and Registration Manager, I orchestrated both the festival's digital presence and on-ground operations, ensuring a seamless experience for thousands of participants across multiple annual events.
My role encompassed the full spectrum of festival operations—from crafting comprehensive marketing materials and managing the website's evolution to handling vital customer service and registration processes. I took pride in creating distinctive festival programs, maps, and merchandise that enhanced the event's brand identity while efficiently managing the complex logistics of multi-day event registration and participant support.

Visualizing an ambitious dream for Burning Man's largest mobile art installation
As part of the Big Imagination team, I contributed to an ambitious Burning Man project: transforming a Boeing 747 into an interactive art piece. My role focused on creating detailed 3D renderings that helped visualize the project's potential, supporting the team's fundraising efforts during the early stages of development.
I spent three years with the camp during the project's initial phases, which began with a 60-foot air-conditioned geodesic dome for the Frequently Higher Club, followed by successive additions of the fuselage. As a member of the flight crew, I helped transport sections from Empire to Black Rock City. The team went on to successfully complete the project in later years, bringing the entire aircraft to the playa.

What began as a personal expression of artistic mourning resonated deeply within the creative community, catching the attention of renowned artist Android Jones, who shared it with his 300,000 followers.
The piece went on to be shared thousands of times across social media platforms, touching countless fans and artists alike. This unexpected viral moment demonstrated the power of digital art to capture and convey collective emotion, bridging personal expression with communal experience.
